Many international students choose short time courses including advanced Russian, preparation to TORFLsummer schools etc.

Currently the University has over ten thousand students with more than 560 international students from about than 50 countries.

MSRU international students are of different age. Mostly they are bachelor and master students aged from 18 to 27.

The youngest students of the University are the participants of summer schools aged 13-14 who are sent to study in Russia by classical schools and lyceums of Finland.

Our oldest international student is a citizen of the US, born in 1949, who studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Folk Crafts.
