On the 16th of October 2019 on the basis of MRSU by the professors of the Department of logopedics, faculty of special pedagogy and psychology was organized a Round table with international participation “Children with speech disorders in modern educational space: problems, experience, solutions”, attended by experts in the field of special education, teachers- speech therapists, professors of educational organizations, representatives of administration of educational institutions of Special, General and Additional education of Moscow city and Moscow region, as well as professors of the University of Perugia (Italy).
The Round table was opened by A. A. Dmitriev (Dean of the faculty of special pedagogy and psychology of Moscow Region State University) and Marco Moschini (Professor of the University of Perugia (Italy)). In their welcoming speeches was highlighted the modern domestic and foreign experience in creating an educational environment for people with developmental disabilities, modern views on international cooperation in the field of inclusive education, noted great interest in international cooperation on special pedagogy and speech therapy.
Speech by Elena A. Shilova (MRSU Head of the Department of speech therapy)
Problematic issues of speech therapy were presented in the report by Elena A. Shilova (Head of the Department of speech therapy of Moscow Region State University). She spoke about the experience of using interactive programs developed by students and teachers of the Department.
Mettini Emiliano (Head of the Department of Humanities of the international faculty of Pirogov Medical University) highlighted the axiological approach to inclusive education and its philosophical aspects.
Associate professors of the Department of speech therapy also made relevant reports reflecting the main directions of psychological and pedagogical support in inclusive education, the experience of forming alternative communication among students with speech disorders and their psychological characteristics, especially families raising children with severe speech disorders (S. V. Leonova, L. A. Panteleeva, A. S. Khodyakova, E. S. Lykova-Unkovskaya, I. A. Guseva, T. V. Alabina).

The great interest of the audience was aroused by the master class “Social and communicative formation of children with speech disorders in the space of culture”, conducted by S. V. Makushkina (teacher-psychologist) and T.V. Zheleznaya (head of the ССF No. 4 “Alyonushka” Mytischi), based on the material of Italian and Russian folk tales. Undergraduates of the faculty of special pedagogy and psychology took an active part in it.
The reports of teachers of educational organizations of the Moscow region (I. V. Zolotareva, S. S. Asilbekyan, E. A. Kochetkova, A. N. Kuznetsova, M. M. Toikeeva) revealed the features of the formation of verbal means of communication in preschoolers, correction of writing disorders in younger students, the use of interactive technologies in the correction of speech disorders and many others.
In General, during the event experts discussed existing and new approaches to the organization and content of psychological and pedagogical support of persons with speech disorders in modern conditions of inclusive education, current problems of psychological, medical and pedagogical diagnosis of speech disorders; effective technologies of training and education of persons with speech disorders; issues of training of future teachers-speech therapists in the conditions of modernization of higher education.
As the result of the meeting was adopted a resolution which approved the continuation of the international cooperation in the framework of topical issues of modern therapy, the development of publication activity in international journals through co-authorship in scientific publications and draft program of international internships for foreign students abroad.
