The International Science Festival started at the Moscow Region State University on Friday, February 8. Within three weeks, there will be held: conferences, exhibitions, master classes, scientific quests and open lectures by leading domestic and foreign scientists.
At the opening day, there was working an exhibition of robotics, and a presentation of the quantorium’s achievements of the Moscow Region took place. Stanislav Lomov (Academic of RAS and RAA) has given a lecture to the guests of the festival and there was also held a meeting with famous Russian artists.
“This is the fourth international scientific festival. It is traditionally held on the 8th of February, the Day of Russian Science. This is a special date for the whole country and for the entire scientific community. Our university continues the traditions that were initiated four years ago, and reaches a new strategic level of scientific research development” said Veronika Zapalatskaya, Acting Rector of MRSU.
The first day ended with the award ceremony for students, employees and teachers of the Moscow Region State University for their contribution to the development of science.
