Student from Mali attends the second course of magistracy in MGOU. His name is Yaya Traore. He has graduated from Bamako university as a philologist in his home country. He visits Russia not for the first time as he passed the internship in Russian language twice: in 2006 and 2017. It is necessary to notice that in Mali people warmed to Russia and Russian culture. Since childhood Yaya has dreamed of learning Russian and this interest made him study masterpieces of famous Russian poets and writers at his home Bamako university. He is fond of A.S.Pushkin, L.N.Tolstoy, M.Yr.Lermontov’s works.

Now Malian student is preparing a defense of his thesis on the following theme: “Language situation in Mali” with the help of his Academic Adviser I.I. Valyuseva. Yaya admires Russian soul of fellow students and professor as they support him to solve all the difficulties.
