The closing ceremony was held on 24th August. Employees of the International Cooperation Department and of the Centre for International Education gave out certificates to the students of the Summer School 2018.
A three-week summer school programme consisted of educational part and excursion part. During the excursion programme the students had a Moscow river cruise and visited: the Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Sparrow Hills, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Kolomenskoye estate, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, the All-russian exhibition centre, Sergiyev Posad (the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius), Zaryadye Park, Tsaritsyno Park, the Moscow Kremlin, the Kremlin armoury chamber, the Alexander Garden, the Manezhnaya Square.
The expert on the methodological work of the Centre for International Education Olga Arapova gave a final speech in front of the students.
After an official part of the ceremony the students were invited to take part in photo shoot and video shoot.
The participants of the Summer School expressed their gratitude to everyone who was with them these days for the hearty welcome, help, patience, attention and kindness.
Then the students had a festive dinner. They communicated, shared their impressions about Moscow in an informal atmosphere. Thanks to the school the students gained not only knowledge, but also found new friends.
The guests highly appreciated the work of the Russian-teachers and their high professional level. The participants really liked the concept of an open lesson in the format of an excursion or a walk through the wonderful places of Moscow and the region. They regretted that, the Summer School was completed.
