There is less than a month left before the start of the admission campaign to universities. In our article we will tell you how to apply for admission to the university and name the list of documents which is needed. This year, you can apply to 5 universities in 10 directions at once. However, each university determines the number of training areas independently in the range from 2 to 10. The main thing is to have time to do it before July 25! Universities set this deadline themselves. August 3 is the last day when you can bring the original documents.

How do I apply? There are 4 ways: in person, by Russian post, through the superservice “Admission to university online” on the portal of Public Services or in the personal account of the university.

You can apply with the help of a superservice to no more than 5 universities — for full-time, part-time and targeted training. Super service will help applicants to apply to universities without personal visits to admissions offices, paper applications and queues. You will be able to:

• choose universities and competitive groups for admission

• fill in an application and send it to universities

• find out the schedule of entrance exams and sign up for them

• keep track of your place in the competition lists

• make changes to the application before July 20 or 25 — while the documents are being accepted

• submit or withdraw consent for enrollment

• find out about enrollment by receiving a notification from the university.

How to apply for admission to a university, please follow the link: . The applicant needs to register for Public Services and fill out an application for admission to study, attaching the necessary documents. You will need scans or photos of certificates confirming individual achievements, which are taken into account when applying. There is a standard package of documents for submission to any university:

• Passport or other identity and citizenship document

• A standard document on education

• Insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance (if available)

• Diploma of the winner or prize-winner of international, All-Russian Olympiads and school Olympiads (if available)

• A document confirming the use of the right to admission within a special quota (if available)

• Documents confirming the presence of individual achievements

• A document on the change of surname (first name, patronymic) (if necessary).

It is important to understand that you leave the original document and consent for enrollment at the university whose specialty is a priority. Some specialties require a medical certificate form 086/y – information about this is in the description of the specialty. The same certificate will be needed for settling into a hostel, so it’s better to make several of them at once. Your personal portfolio will also come in handy, copies of which can also be attached to other packages of documents. A portfolio can help you get extra points. We wish applicants to make the right choice and enroll in the university they dream of!
