The new Master’s program “Legal support of sports and coaching activities” will open in the new academic year at the Faculty of Law of Moscow Region State University! The program will be relevant for undergraduate graduates of two faculties at once: the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Physical Culture! Master the new program if you plan to realize yourself in the field of sports law, legal support of coaching, sports arbitration. Students will master the disciplines: general theory of sports and technology of athlete training, current problems in the system of scientific knowledge about sports. You will be able to learn more about national and international federations and leagues as subjects of sports, features of financial relations and taxation, international cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports.
Undergraduates will have knowledge of how the rights of subjects of sports activity are protected, what are binding legal relations in the field of sports and coaching, sports disputes and arbitration. Future specialists in the field of sports law will get a full understanding of anti-doping legal regulation, public law regulation and public administration in the field of sports.
The classes will also allow you to study the sports law of Russia and foreign countries, international sports law, information about the legal status of subjects, features of labor, social and medical legal relations in the field of sports.
The head of the Master’s program is the Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Science, Education and Development of Science Cities of the Public Chamber of the Moscow Region, Candidate of Law Konstantin Aleksandrovich Kurakin. Konstantin Alexandrovich is a lawyer with 12 years of experience in the field of jurisprudence and conducting cases in courts: both arbitration and courts of general jurisdiction. Konstantin Kurakin has been Deputy General Director of MOSURCOLLEGIA since 2017, member of the Public Chamber of the Moscow Region since 2020, Chairman of the Legal Support Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Moscow Region.
Graduates of the Master’s program will be in demand in large companies, public authorities: the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Olympic Committee of Russia, leagues, sports clubs and societies, public authorities.
The form of study is full–time and part-time. 20 seats are provided on a contractual basis. Students will be able to master the full–time program in 2 years. Choosing a
correspondence form, undergraduates will study for 2 years and 5 months. The entrance exams will be held in August 2022. Classes will begin on September 15.
