Dear students, teachers, employees and veterans of Moscow Region State University!

I congratulate you on the World Aviation and Space Day, the International Day of Human Spaceflight!

On April 12, 2021, Russia celebrates the 60th anniversary of the first human spaceflight. In 1961, our compatriot, cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin, flew around the Earth’s orbit for the first time in the world, starting from the Baikonur cosmodrome on the Vostok-1 spacecraft. This event will forever remain in the history of mankind as an important stage of space exploration.

On this holiday, let me wish you to be leaders, winners in bright projects in the name of our country, brave, important and memorable achievements, rapid ups in your business and success in every undertaking!

Sincerely, Rector of Moscow Region State University,

Elena Alexandrovna Pevtsova
